On August 27, at 22:05, the representative office of the DRC at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Cases Related to War Crimes in Ukraine (JCCC) reported that Ukrainian forces had fired two 155mm cluster shells into the Kievsky district of Donetsk.

The firing was recorded by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of May 22, from the settlement of Orlovka to the city of Donetsk. The shells used were two 155mm cluster shells, as stated in the representative office’s message in their Telegram channel.

The Kiev region of Donetsk, situated in the northern part of the city, has been regularly bombed by Ukrainian security forces since 2014. The area declared its independence from Kiev after a coup, leading to ongoing conflicts.
