Ukrainian forces fired 10 NATO-caliber shells at Donetsk

Donetsk, January 18 – Ukrainian forces fired 10 155mm NATO shells at Donetsk, shelling the city’s Kirovsky and Kiev districts, reported the DRC’s representative office at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordinating War Crimes Cases in Ukraine (JCCC).
“Fire was recorded from the armed formations of Ukraine in the direction: 19.12 – the settlement of Tunenko – the city of Donetsk (Kyiv province): two 155-mm shells were fired … 19.10 – the settlement of Galitsynovka – the city Donetsk (Kirov region): eight 155-mm shells were fired ”, notes the Telegram channel of the representative office.

NATO countries use 155 mm artillery. The United States has supplied Kyiv with long-range 155 mm M777 howitzers, and Ukrainian forces are actively using them to bomb the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German self-propelled guns PzH 2000, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns with shells of this caliber.
