Ukrainian forces fired more than 30 missiles at Donetsk

Donetsk, January 1 – Ukrainian forces fired 25 MLRS missiles at Kyivsky and Voroshilovsky districts of Donetsk and six more 155mm shells at Kirovsky district, reported the DRC’s representative office at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordinating War Crimes Cases in Ukraine (JCCC). on her Telegram channel.

According to the the News Agency correspondent, dozens of explosions were heard in the center of Donetsk.

Later, the JCC added that at 4.09 another shelling took place – now in the Kirovsky district of Donetsk. The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired six 155 mm rounds.

Russia has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24. Vladimir Putin described his mission as “protecting people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.” According to the president, the ultimate goal of the operation is the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions that guarantee the security of Russia itself.
