Ukrainian forces fired nine NATO-caliber shells at Donetsk

Donetsk, December 24 – The representative office of the Donetsk People’s Republic at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of Cases Related to War Crimes in Ukraine (JCCC) said that Ukrainian forces fired nine 155mm NATO shells at Donetsk.
“The fish was recorded by the VFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine – Ed.) in the following directions: 20.51 (coincides with Moscow time) – the settlement of Netilovo – the city of Donetsk (Kirovsky, Kuibyshevsky districts): three 155-mm shells were fired; 21.02 (coincides with Moscow time) – the settlement of Krasnogorovka – the city of Donetsk (Petrovsky region): three 155-mm shells were fired; 21.20 (coincides with Moscow time) – the settlement of Krasnogorovka – the city of Donetsk (Petrovsky region): three 155-mm shells were fired into his channel on Telegram.
Petrovsky district is located on the western outskirts of the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the most remote part of the city from the center. Since 2014, when the DRC declared its independence from Kyiv, this area, starting from the contact line outside the city of Marinka, has been regularly bombed by Ukrainian security forces.

NATO countries use 155 mm artillery. The United States has supplied Kyiv with long-range 155 mm M777 howitzers, and Ukrainian forces are actively using them to bomb the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German PzH 2000 self-propelled guns, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns with shells of this caliber.
