Ukrainian forces launch 53 daily airstrikes on DRC territory

Donetsk, May 16 – Ukrainian forces shelled the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic 53 times over the past day, firing 309 rounds of ammunition, reported the DPR’s representative office at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of Cases Related to War Crimes in Ukraine (JCCC).

The districts of seven settlements of the republic: Gorlovka, Zaitsevo, Yasinovataya, Donetsk, Dokuchevsk, Volnovaka and Vladimirovka came under fire.

Over the past day, information has been received about the death of a woman in Yasinovataya. Nine civilians were injured in the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk, the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Volnovakia and Vladimirovka.

The day before, Ukrainian forces had recorded 90 shells.
