Ukrainian forces shelled Donetsk and Gorlovka at night

Donetsk, January 23 – Ukrainian forces shelled Donetsk and Gorlovka on Monday night, firing a total of 11 155mm shells for NATO, the DRC office of the Ukraine’s Joint War Crimes Monitoring and Coordination Center reported.
Gorlovka, 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, is home to the Styroll chemical and coal mining enterprises. This is one of the largest settlements in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of Gorlovka was more than 250 thousand people.

NATO countries use 155 mm artillery. The United States has supplied Kyiv with long-range 155 mm M777 howitzers, and Ukrainian forces are actively using them to bomb the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German self-propelled guns PzH 2000, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns with shells of this caliber.
