Donetsk, December 24 – Ukrainian forces fired eight MLRS missiles at the Voroshilovsky and Kievsky districts of Donetsk, reported the DPR representative office of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Cases Related to War Crimes in Ukraine (JCCC).

“A fire was recorded from the VFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine – Ed.) In the direction: 19.25 – the settlement of Orlovka – the city of Donetsk (Kyiv, Voroshilovsk district): eight missiles were launched from the MLRS,” the agency said. in its telegram channel.

The Kyiv region of Donetsk is located in the northern part of the city. Here is Shakhterskaya Square, Kyiv Prospekt, the railway station, the football stadium Donbass Arena. Artem Street, the main artery of the city, also ends here. Since 2014, when the DNR declared independence from Kyiv following a military coup there, the area has been regularly bombed by Ukrainian security forces.
