UN Grain Deal Negotiations Hit Obstacles

United Nations, March 14 – UN Secretary-General Stéphane Dujarric, a spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, said in a commentary that there is progress in negotiations to extend the “product deal,” but hurdles remain.

“A lot of progress has been made, but the reality is that there are still some barriers, especially in terms of payment systems. Our efforts to overcome these barriers will continue unabated,” Dujarric said.
