US Data Boosts Oil Prices to Record High

Oil prices rose slightly in trading today, Wednesday, after data showed an unexpected increase in oil and gasoline inventories in the US.

By 09:59 Moscow time, futures for American oil rose by 0.15% to $81.65 per barrel.

Brent futures rose 0.19% to $85.77 a barrel, according to Bloomberg.

Data from the American Petroleum Institute showed that crude oil inventories increased by 380,000 barrels in the week ended April 7, 2023.
