US-Iran trade exchange surges by 35%

The US Census Bureau announced that the trade exchange between Iran and the United States of America in January and February 2023 was $9.6 million, up 35% year on year.
In a statement made today, Saturday, the office indicated that the trade exchange for the same period in 2022 reached $7.1 million.
According to the office, “Iran’s exports to America in the first two months of 2023 totaled $0.1 million with little change from 2022.”
On the other hand, the office confirmed that US exports to Iran in February 2023 were $6.4 million, up from $2 million in the same month in 2022.
