The Qatar Football Association released a vague statement deciding to suspend and fine the first team players without giving reasons for the suspension after a period of time had passed since Al Annabi said goodbye early to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. .

And on the official account of the Qatar Federation, through Twitter for social networks, an official statement was published on the disciplinary decisions against the Al-Annabi players, based on the report sent by the Administration of the national football teams to the General Secretariat of the Federation and the decisions taken. came the following:

And on the basis of what is stated in paragraph 2 of Art. 22 of the Regulations of professional football players for 2022-2023 the following decision was made:

1- Deducting 50% of the salary of the player, Abdul Karim Hasan, suspending him indefinitely, warning him and imposing a fine of 200,000 QAR.

2- Deduction of 50% of the salary of the player Bassam Al-Rawi, a warning and a fine of 100,000 QAR.

3- Deduction of 50% of the salary of the player, Mohamed Vaad, a warning and a fine of 50,000 QAR.

The reasons that prompted the Qatar Football Association to make such decisions regarding the players of the Qatar national team were not disclosed.

Al-Sadd Club announced the final exclusion of Abdul-Karim Hasan from the team due to an incident of responding to a fan on social media after he attacked him for Al-Annabi’s modest level in the 2022 World Cup.

The Qatar national team delivered a disappointing record, losing every match in the first group, in the 2022 World Cup competition held at home and among fans, dropping to the bottom of the group with no points.
