Wolf attack in Jewish Autonomous Region sends two to hospital

Vladivostok, April 11 – The regional veterinary department said on Tuesday that two attacks by wolves in a row – on two people and a dog – occurred in the countryside of the Leninsky district of the Jewish Autonomous Region, and both victims were hospitalized.

According to the administration, the field camp is located near the Leninskoye-Bidzhan highway. Already on April 6, in the same area, the wolf attacked again, this time on the dog. The Department of Veterinary Medicine added that specialists implemented “measures aimed at preventing the spread of rabies” at the site of the attack.
