Simferopol, February 9 – The Crimean Emergencies Ministry said that the operation of the ferry crossing in Kerch has been restarted after more than three days of inactivity due to bad weather and strong winds.
Earlier, a storm warning was declared in the peninsula due to a severe cold wave and strong winds.

On the Krymsky Bridge early in the morning of October 8, 2022, a truck exploded, as a result of which seven fuel tanks of the railway train caught fire, and two cars on the right side of the bridge partially collapsed. In early December, traffic resumed on the right side of the repaired bridge, and work began to replace the spans of its left side. The bridge can now be crossed by cars, buses and rail. The movement of any trucks, including light trucks, through the Kerch Strait is carried out through the ferry crossing.
