Thirteen countries have reported increases in cases to the World Health Organization in the past week, with Mexico reporting the largest increase.
Most cases of infection since the beginning of 2022 have been registered in the United States (29,891), followed by Brazil (10,739), Spain (7,518), France (4,128), Colombia (4,066), Mexico (3,768), United Kingdom ( 3735), Peru (3723), Germany (3692) and Canada (1460). The vast majority of cases (96.6%) are men aged 29 to 41 years.
