Belgorod, April 8 – The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that two teenagers were injured in the Belgorod region due to improper handling of a projectile found from the Great Patriotic War.
“In the village of Pokrovo-Mikhailovka, two teenagers of about 17 years old were cleaning garbage in the garden, and they found a rusty shell from the times of the Great Patriotic War. They decided to disassemble it, or rather, saw it. One of the men had a slight concussion, the second was less fortunate – he had shrapnel wounds in both legs and left arm.
The head of the region explained that the teenagers were taken to the regional children’s hospital in Belgorod.

The governor stated that parents should pay special attention to children. “Because of children’s curiosity, trouble can happen to the child! Therefore, repeat to the children once again: you can’t pick up dangerous things, let alone disassemble them yourself!” he added.
