Zelensky announced a difficult situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Artemivsk and Volydar

Moscow, January 29 – Volodymyr Zelensky said that the situation for the forces of the Kyiv regime in the Artemovsk and Ogledar directions of the DRC is very difficult.

“The situation is very difficult,” Zelensky said in a video message. “Pakhmutsky (Artemovsky – ed.), Oguldarsky and other areas in the Donetsk region are continuous Russian aggressions and continuous attempts to penetrate our defences.”

According to him, the intensity of the attacks is still high.

Artyomovsk is located in the Kyiv-controlled part of the DRC, north of the large city of Gorlovka, and is an important transport hub for supplying the Ukrainian grouping of forces in the Donbass.

Acting President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Denis Pushlin noted that the fighters of the Wagner Group were fighting the enemy in urban areas. As Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder of the Wagner Group, recently stated, the goal of liberating Artemovsk is to prevent offensive operations by Ukrainian forces “in any direction.”
