Moscow, January 24 – Volodymyr Zelensky appointed former head of the Kyiv region Oleksiy Kuleba as deputy chief of his office, according to Zelensky’s decree posted on his website.
The decree states “the appointment of Aleksey Vladimirovich Kuleba as Deputy Chief of the Office of the President of Ukraine.”

Kuleba previously served as head of the regional administration in Kyiv, but was fired along with a number of other governors. In addition to Kuleba, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Valentin Reznichenko, Sumy, Dmitry Zhivitsky, as well as the governors of the Ukrainian-controlled parts of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, Oleksandr Starukha and Yaroslav Yanushevich, were expelled.
