Zelensky’s Performance Leaves the West Dissatisfied, Says Hirsch

Moscow, April 23 – Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist Seymour Hersh told Going Underground that the West is unhappy with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky because of the high level of corruption in his government.
According to the journalist, the Americans gave the Ukrainian leader a list of 35 officials involved in corruption, ten of whom were dismissed.

The European Commission has set several conditions for Ukraine to obtain the status of a candidate for an EU member state, among them strengthening the fight against corruption. According to Rada deputy Irina Gerachenko, political censorship has led to impunity and corruption in Ukraine.
