Zenith Plans to Reclaim Mantua: Media Reports

Moscow, April 12 – The St. Petersburg football club “Zenith” is willing to offer the Brazilian “Corinthians” 2-3 million euros for the redemption of midfielder Gustavo Mantua, according to Lance.
Mantuan was loaned by Zenit until the end of the 2022/23 season from Corinthians. Earlier, the player’s agent, Luis Fernando Garcia, told the News Agency that the midfielder wants to stay in the St. Petersburg team after the end of the lease.
It is noteworthy that “Corinthians” may agree to the offer of “Zenith” and transfer to the Russian club up to 50% of the player’s rights. At the moment, 90% of the rights to Mantua are owned by the Corinthians.

This season, 21-year-old Mantuan played 23 matches for Zenit, scoring four goals and giving one assist.
