Zolotov set to meet with Kadyrov, confirms announcement

Grozny, April 26 – The President of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced a meeting with the Director of the Federal Service of the Russian National Guard Forces, Viktor Zolotov.

“We always have a constructive, useful and fruitful dialogue with Viktor Vasilievich. And this time we discussed a number of topics on the current agenda that require a decision and advice from the commander of the Russian Guard,” Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.

He called Zolotov the standard of a “true comrade-in-arms”, with whom “you can solve even the most difficult and dangerous tasks.”

“It is people like this in government positions who move Russia forward,” Kadyrov added.

On Monday, the head of the region spoke of a meeting with the founder of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, who he said discussed hot international issues.
