Cilic has successfully undergone knee surgery

Moscow, January 21 – Croatian tennis player Marin Cilic has said he will miss part of the 2023 season due to knee surgery.
In January, Cilic withdrew from the quarterfinals of the ATP 250 tournament in Pune (India), where he was the top seed, due to a knee injury, and then withdrew from the Australian Open (Australian Open).

Former world number 3 and 2014 US Open winner, Cilic is 34 years old. In total, he holds 20 ATP singles titles. He is the winner of the Davis Cup (2018) and the silver medalist of the Olympic Games in Tokyo in doubles as part of the Croatian national team.
