Kostomarov’s Condition After Surviving a Stroke Still Deteriorating

Moscow, March 8 – Sources at RBC say that the condition of Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarov is not improving.
According to the publication, two sources said that doctors do not notice any improvement or deterioration in the skier.
Kostomarov was hospitalized almost two months ago, and he was diagnosed with pneumonia. The athlete was hooked up to a ventilator, and underwent ECMO.

According to the News Agency sources, doctors had to amputate part of Kostomarov’s leg and several fingers on his hands. On February 21, it became known that the skater had suffered a stroke.
