Because of Ronaldo.. Messi at the Saudi Al-Hilal table at the Club World Cup
Paris Saint-Germain star Argentine international Lionel Messi appeared at the table of the Saudi club Al-Hilal 24 hours before the latter’s match against Real Madrid in the Club World Cup final.
And over the last period, some news has circulated that confirms that the Al-Hilal club is stepping up its attempts to sign Messi, whose contract with the Parisian team expires at the end of the current season.
During a press conference ahead of the match between Al Hilal and Real Madrid, Al Hilal’s Argentine coach Ramon Diaz commented on the possibility of his team moving to compatriot Messi in the upcoming summer transfer period.
Diaz said: “Saudi football is growing significantly and we have the opportunity to bring in top international players like Cristiano Ronaldo.”
As for the chances of Al-Hilal signing Messi, Diaz said: “Now we have to wait and see what happens in the future.”
Al-Hilal fans are dreaming of bringing in Messi in response to historic rival Al-Nasr joining Ronaldo late last year.
