Spain’s Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets has turned down an offer from Saudi club Al-Nasr to join Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo despite expectations that he will not renew his contract, which expires at the end of the current season with Barça.

And Spanish reports said Al Nasr had made the Barcelona captain an attractive offer of at least 20 million euros a year, but the 34-year-old turned down the offer as he explores another upcoming offer for the American Pro League.

Reports have indicated that Sergio Busquets has performed modestly this season and his fate with Barcelona is still unclear and his contract is not expected to be renewed for another season due to his recent decline while several clubs made bids for the player, including a win bid that is considered the largest so far.
