Moscow, February 21 – Argentine striker Lionel Messi will not renew his contract with the French football club Paris Saint-Germain, according to what was reported by the French newspaper “France Football News”, according to the L’Equipe newspaper.
The current contract of the 35-year-old Argentine player with the Parisians expires at the end of the current season. Earlier, media reported that the French club was in talks to extend the agreement with Messi, and that the Argentine had agreed to stay at the club. Now, however, Messi is allegedly tipped towards leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The reasons why the player changed his mind are not specified.
It is rumored that other career options for Messi are moving to MLS Inter Miami and returning to Barcelona.
