Barcelona have revealed the nature of the injury of their captain Busquets
FC Barcelona on Monday announced the nature of the injury sustained by its captain Sergio Busquets in the match with Sevilla in the 20th round of the Spanish Football League.
Busquets complained of an ankle injury after colliding with Sevilla striker, Moroccan international Youssef Al-Nusairi, and he was unable to complete the match that took place yesterday and ended in a Catalan team 3 win with no answer.
Barcelona said in a statement: “Tests carried out today by Busquets showed that the player has a sprain in his left ankle.”

He added: “Sergio Busquets will miss matches and the date of his return depends on the speed of his recovery from injury.”
And Spanish media have reported that Busquets will need two to three weeks to recover from injury before returning to the stadiums again.
Busquets are expected to miss two matches against Manchester United (round trip) in the Europa League scheduled for 16 and 23 February.
