World Health Organization: Global Covid deaths down 62% in 4 weeks
The World Health Organization announced that the number of deaths from Covid has decreased by 62% compared to the previous 28 days, and the number of infections has decreased by 89%.
There were (5,282,569) infections and (48,691) deaths globally in four weeks on Wednesday, according to a fact sheet released by the World Health Organization.
And the World Health Organization said that between January 23 and February 19, more than 5.2 million people were infected with coronavirus in the world, and more than 48 thousand people died.
In 28 days, most cases were detected in the United States (1,113,288), followed by Japan (1,095,815), China (635,433), Republic of Korea (430,042) and Germany (329,229).
Between January 23 and February 19, the United States recorded the highest number of deaths (13,517), followed by China (9,945), Japan (6,536), Australia (2,179) and the UK (2,063) .
As of February 21, the World Health Organization has received reports of (757,264,511) cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the epidemic and (6,850,594) deaths from the virus.
